quick restoring process

In these directions to complete quick restore on my presario 7470, it says insert floppy. Does that mean a blank floppy or a boot disk? im confused, please help????????

1) Run fdisk and take out all partitions.


2) When booting up to the Quick Restore disk and "quick restore" starts flashing on the screen tap the caps lock key once.


3) When "quick restore" stops flashing tap the num lock key once.


4) Follow the prompts. You will be asked to insert a floppy into the system. Do so and continue to follow the prompts.


5) It will ask you to select your model. Select from the list the model number of your system. Then continue to follow the prompts.


When durring the Quick Restore process you recieve the not ready reading drive N message then you place the floppy in the drive and tap the enter key three times. This will ensure successful compleation the Quick Restore process for you. Just run the rest of the Quick Restore as normal.
