[solved] When I put in a DVD autorun comes up but shows programs not longer installed
Ok. Heres the problem.
When I put in a dvd autorun shows up, but the list contains a program not longer installed. I had a crash installing this program and great difficulties to remove it. I have run CCleaner and registry fixes but the option is still there. Is it a way to edit this list manually? Its the copy hddvd with dvdfab thats the program I need gone from the list. ![]() http://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?image=startcdfj9.jpg Last edited by syklitengutt; February 3rd, 2008 at 02:31 AM. Ok. Set a restore point and go to Start > Start Search and type regedit. Regedit.exe will appear at the top of the Menu. Rightclick on it and choose "Run as Administrator" and navigate to the below key:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers Reboot and the options should be gone.

Thank you so much for the help.
I should have thought of this myself. Search in Registry. Anyway. Solved. Thank you. |
