[solved] When I put in a DVD autorun comes up but shows programs not longer installed

Ok. Heres the problem.
When I put in a dvd autorun shows up, but the list contains a program not longer installed.
I had a crash installing this program and great difficulties to remove it.
I have run CCleaner and registry fixes but the option is still there.
Is it a way to edit this list manually?
Its the copy hddvd with dvdfab thats the program I need gone from the list.

Hi syklitengutt. Yes but you will need to edit your registry. Do you feel comfortable doing this?

Ok. Set a restore point and go to Start > Start Search and type regedit. Regedit.exe will appear at the top of the Menu. Rightclick on it and choose "Run as Administrator" and navigate to the below key:

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers
To do this, click on the > sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then the > sign by Software etc until you have reached the Handlers subkey. Click on the > sign next to the Handlers subkey and in the list of subkeys, you should see an entry or entries pertaining to DVDFab. Rightclick on the key/s and delete it. (to be sure, select the entry first and in the righthand pane you should see DVDFab listed under Provider).

Reboot and the options should be gone.

Thank you so much for the help.
I should have thought of this myself.
Search in Registry.

Anyway. Solved. Thank you.
