can anybody help/advise
everytime i reload windows i have to use about 8 different discs for device drivers favourite programs codecs etc etc.
is there a way i could backup the drivers and put them on 1 cd/dvd with my favourite programs and alos with a boot cd/dvd so that i have everything on 1 cd/dvd.

this is probably going to take a dvd. you should copy all of the cds onto your hard drive, then burn them all to one dvd.

to copy the cd image to your hard drive, try using Iomega HotBurn.

thanks for your help.
is there such a thing as a boot dvd and is there a way of copying the drivers from within windows so i dont have to copy all of the cd for the video card/sound card/modem/printer etc. etc.

try this to backup all your drivers at once to disk.
