Hi
It appears for some reason unknown to me windows live msngr wont connect...tried few versions 7.5 and onwards but still same problem..any solutions for that?

i have vista home premium with messenger 8.1 and it works fine
check ur firewall

thks for yr reply..mine is vista ultimate 32 bit..d/l msgr8.1 switch off firewall no help...
I googled it again and this time i was lucky ..found this and it worked
Click start
- Type: cmd (but don't hit Enter)
- Right-click cmd.exe when it appears under Applications
- Click Run As Administrator
- Type the following: netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
- Press enter
Then just sign into WLM; you don't even have to reboot
