I just purchased a new laptop with Windows Vista. I can connect to the internet fine, just not through wireless. My wireless is turned on and it says I am connected (with an excellent connection), but I cannot get anything to load up on the internet. From this same location, my other laptop connects to the wireless just fine. I tried everything:
- Checked my ip, it is valid. Also renewed it.
- I disabled the firewall and disabled personal accounts.
- I contacted the manufacturer of both the wireless and computer
- It is not the IE, because it will not connect at the command prompt either
The error I am getting is that I can not contact the DNS.
If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it, thanks
