Hello,

I am a drummer looking to go digital with my warm-up and practice tunes. I use a CD player but, when things get heavy, it tends to skip so I thought about going digital using my old lap top.

How does sound vibrations affect a lap top?

Can I place it on some rubber or some material that would help reduce the vibration?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

DN

you may also want to put it behind something to block the vibrations.

Flash drives are pretty much immune to vibration. You could use a flash storage-based USB MP3 player connected to some speakers and you wouldn't have to worry about vibrations, good or bad.
