NTLDR missing

Have just un-installed AOL broadband from my PC. PC will now not reboot with the error message 'NTLDR is missing'.
I have tried restoring but the same message appears after the restart when the restore has finished can anyone help?

i have had a few HD's dp this over the years too

i currently have one that does it


have not found a way past it

must mean the HD is dead

unless someone knows something else
