Hi Guys,
I have a document that is 98 pages in length, but for some reason MS-Word has 106 pages total, leaving 8 blank pages whenever I print out. Aside from specifying how many pgs I want to print, is there any way to "delete" these blank pages?

Not quite sure if this will work for you, but I've had the same problem in the past. Try placing your cursor 1 line below the last line of text on the page that is just before one of the blank pages. Hit delete or maybe backspace a few times, but not so many as to cause the next page to move onto the current page. My problem is that there are blank lines at the end of this page that were put there to move text onto the next page. Put there by hitting the enter key a few times. They don't show as anything on the page, but Word reads them as lines. You can test this to see if there are indeed lines present by clicking on the little backwards "P" in the toolbar at the top. This will show all control characters on the page.
If that doesn't work, you can always put a "page break" at the end of the page that comes before the blank page. I don't really recommend this because it now doesn't allow for the free flow of page breaks, but it should work also.

Hi Errolo,
Thank you for your helpful response! You were correct, it looks like there were control characters on all of my excess blank pages, probably due to the fact that I would write a few scratch paragraphs below my main paragraphs, and then delete them after the final versions were complete. Word probably interpreted these scratch paragraphs as lines.
Again - thanks for your help. :)

You're quite welcome. Glad that it worked.
