Laggy...

I formatted my computer the other day and have never before experienced this problem.
Every time I scroll, in anything (I.e. Firefox... The Sims, lol.) it's really laggy.

Does anyone know why this may be happening and what solutions there are?

Very likely to be video drivers need updating from the default Windows installed version.
