Outlook Express Starts with Windows....

Hello,

I have a problem with outlook express. It opens up automatically each time I start windows. I use WinXP.

I have searched in Start Menu/Startup and there are no OE icons there. I also looked through msconfig to see if there was any reference, but nothing in there either.

Where else can I look? I used OE a lot in the past but since some months ago I don't use it anymore and it is a bit annoying having to wait for it to open at startup.

If there's a reference to "msimn.exe" in either the Startup folder or msconfig, that's Outlook Express.

Thanks for the answer.

I looked many times for a reference to msimn.exe in msconfig and in startup but I don't see anything there. I also looked through the Outlook Exp configuration to see if there was any option to disable auto-start. Also in Internet Explorer configuration.

I really don't know where else to look...:hmm:
