I would like to know, what will I benifit from upgrading my Norton Antivirus when I can always get the latest virus definitions by using Norton Update?

Depends on what version you're currently using.
Newer NAV (2001, 2002) adds a few things, automatically goes out and updates definitions, etc. I'm still using NAV v.4 on 1 machine, NAV 2001 on another, and v.2002 on yet another.

I agree with Zip, The only things I have seen mentioned though is the Auto Updates. I really dont like Auto Updates. Slows down surfing and is harder on your System Resources. Just my personal feeling, but I would much rather take a minute and check for updates than haveing it done for me....
