Can Someone Help?
I recently found out my computer is infected with thise parasite: http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/Transponder.html - that website explains it. That's why I've been getting all the pop-ups! How can I get rid of it? I don't understand what that website is saying to do. I searched on my comp and only found the MSView.dll so maybe that's the only one I have to delete. I tried that MS-DOS command but it said it's a bad command. And when I try to manually delete the file from the WINDOWS folder it says it's in use (even when I close my Internet browser). What can I do to get rid of it?
I also have these and don't know how to remove them: http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/HuntBar.html (I have both the MSLink and the BTln) http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/IPInsight.html (I have the IPInsight/ipinsigt) I followed the directions on all of them but it still says I have them, and I can't get the MS-DOS prompts to work. I get the bad command error. Ones I do find and try to manually delete, I get the "file in use" error. I really need to get rid of these; the pop-ups are driving me insane! |

try getting spybot and adaware from the downloads section of CTH. run both of those after getting all of the updates and scan all of your harddrives. that SHOULD take care of the problems.
