A man boarded an airplane in New Orleans , with a box of crabs.

A female crew member took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator, which she did.

The man firmly advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for the crabs staying frozen, and proceeded to rant and rave about what would happen if she let the crabs thaw out.

Shortly before landing in New York , she announced over the intercom to the entire cabin, 'Would the gentleman who gave me the crabs in New Orleans , please raise your hand?'

Not one hand went up..so she took them home and ate them herself.

I caught crabs in New Orleans LA once. The locals told me how to prepare them. After enjoynig the wonderful dish. I came to an conclusion not everything in life has a meaning. Especially how many craps are cooked in New Orleans my learned friend the Mayor (1919). Drawned butter is the ticket. But I love the "Lee Coctail Sauce" better. Fourty year old whiskey. Makes a man proud to be an American. Has anyone seen an real American lately that can sit down and talk about America?

Ive never met a real American, pops1890, I havent even been there unfortunately. Spoken to some real nice ones tho. Ive met Canadians. They were very nice. Does that count?

Drawn butter is butter that has been melted, solids left in. Drawn is used for things like lobster/crabs and at times emulsification sauces.

Clarified butter is melted then the solids removed. Clarified is used when you need a high smoking point in cooking. (can be used for shell fish too)
