Dell Inspirion 1520 laptop with Vista home premium takes 3.5 minutes to shutdowm. Went into registry and set "Wait to kill service timeout" from 20000 down to 3000 as suggested by Goggle search. However did not notice much if any change. Does anyone have any other suggestions. The startup seems reasonable but have never timed it. Thanks
