I'm trying to watch 2 min. demos from a website. Media Player loads, buffer loads, and starts to play. After 3 or 4 seconds, play stops, buffer reloads and I get another 3 or 4 seconds. This continues to end of two minute movie. What do I need to do to be able to watch without interuption ?
System is Win 98SE, 1 g processor, 256 mb ram, 10 g HD.

This could be due to heavy internet traffic.
I don't think there's any hardware problem

I have found that two factors affect the process. The amount of activity on the servers ( try in the middle of the night when everyone else is asleep) or get a faster connection. I was attemping to download a file which was taking forever on my dialup connection. Trying at different times of the day gave different results. My friend has a T3 line at work. When he tried, the times varied from morning to afternoon. The download times ran at 100Mps to 120Mps (my modem runs at 13 bps to 36000 bps)
