My friend gave me GTA San Andreas. When I try to install it it goes halfway and then says it can install.

Datacab.3 (cyclic redundancy check)

This is the original game disk, not a copy.
It is so annoying!:curse:

Hello, does the disc have a lot of scratches?
You normally get a CRC error from a burnt CD/DVD/BR Disc only when there are scratches on the disc or when the disc is not burnt properly.
Since this is the original game disk, I'm assuming that it has too many scratches.

The fix I'm going to give you is bizzare but a working one(I have personally tried it with a positive result, so it's confirmed that it does not damage anything)

The fix is as follows :

Take a bit of toothpaste(yes toothpaste :D) and apply it on the readable side of the disc and spread evenly in a fixed direction. Let it dry for about 1 minute and then cleanse it with luke warm water.
Make sure that the CD is well dried before you re-insert it into the drive.

The idea is to make the scratches shallow so that the reader does not encounter any problem while extracting the files from the CD.

I know by the time you have read this you have assumed that I'm crazy, but trust me, it has worked for me, so I'm suggesting the same to you :D.
