Vista Premium window transparency

I downloaded the active-x control on my machine with vista premium & it changed the theme of the windows to "Vista Basic". I tried to change it back under "Window color & appearance" but these are the options I have
Windows Aero
Windows Vista Basic
Windows Standard
Windows Classic
High Contrast White
High Contrast Black
High Contrast #2
High Contrast #1

I tried each of them but none make the windows transparent again, does anyone know how to fix it?

Aero is the one you want.

Under Personalization in the Window Color & appearance make sure the box is checked for transparency.
