my active desktop shutdown screen has come up but when I click where it says to restore nothing happens.

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Hi VALLEY114. Have you posted in the correct forum? If so, whatever you are seeing must be generated by a 3rd party application. Active Desktop is not included in Vista. It has been replaced by the Sidebar option.
