You can display the screen onto your TV. Basically there is a cable that connects your computer to you TV from your video card, usually S-Video. Then instead of using a monitor you can use the TV as a screen or a projector.

If you enjoy watching movies on my TV than I recommend it but I have a better monitor than TV so I just use my monitor.

Actually the plug that goes into your computer isn't SVIDEO.. the other end though is SVIDEO for connecting to TV.

I found that out the hard way. I got this GeForce4 Ti4600 128MB card from a friend for $100 and needed an adapter so I got it at Radio Shack for $20 and SVIDEO has only 4 pins.. the one on the back of video cards has 9 pins.

Normally you'll need to switch the TV to "A/V input" not TV Tuner as that's where the PC input is coming in (unless you have a SVHS - Co-ax converter and have plugged the pC out connection into the Aeiral socket, in which case you need to tune the TV until it finds the signal).
