Display Adapter Exclamation Mark in Device Manager

MS 6378 Mobo with o/b graphics
Duron 1.2
256 ram
NVidea tnt2 32meg graphics card

Device Manager under Display Adapters

After a clean install the 'Via Tech graphics Controller' has an error against it.
The NVidea line is ok

What do I have to do to get rid of the ! as I didnt have it when I installed the card?

You will need to go into the Bios and Disable the onboard graphics card. Then you should be able to delete that entry in the device manager.

Sounds like for some reason it decided to turn itsself back on in the bios when you did the Clean install.

I am struggling to find how to turn it off in the bios.
Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Having checked the manual and searching the web a bit it appears that the mobo automatically swaps itself but for some reason it must have left a bit of the on board graphic adapter
there so it kept checkmarking it with the exclamation mark.
I took the graphics card out and booted up on the o/b video, device manager ok, turned off and re-installed the card, connected the monitor to the card and its working fine with no errors in the device manager.

Cheers
