Desktop Freezes up

Hi

I have a rather minor but annoying problem. I startup up my pc and everything loads fine. When I click the start button to access the start menu my pc freezes up for a few minutes then retuens to normal. Any ideas how to stop this annoying problem? Any advice is much appreciated.

Sounds like something might still be loading Barry. Does it do this in Safe Mode?

Hi

No it didn't do it in safe mode. I have just downloaded the latest Windows updates. It seems to have remedied the problem lol. Thx for ur help anyways.
