Can someone explain what the system volume information stuff is and is it safe to delete.

According to my perfect disk, my hard drive is cluttered up due to the excluded system volume files.

Click here for link to what I mean (http://img30.picoodle.com/img/img30/4/4/9/f_Untitledm_724b61b.jpg)

System Volume Information is the folder where Windows keeps its restore points.

You can reduce its size by deleting all but the most recent restore point in Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup>More Options tab>Clean Up button.
