Icons are in the low right of taskbar?

Hey guys,

I just started up my rubbish vista laptop and every window i open goes to the right of the sask bar next to the clock.

How do i get them normal?

Right click on a empty space on the Taskbar and if "Lock the taskbar" is checked, left click on it to uncheck it.

Now you should see a faint vertical line of dots just to the left of the clock area. Hover the cursor over that line until it turns into a double-headed arrow. Press and hold the left mouse button and drag the line to the left as far as it will go (or, if you have Quick Launch enabled, until the last icon on the Quick Launch bar disappears, in which case, back up a little until it reappears). Release the mouse button.

You can then re-lock the Taskbar if you want.
