Very Frusterating.............

Hey so I'm having serious troubles with 3D Games. I've tried things like Regnum, Last Chaos, Eternal Lands, and etc........ and none of them work!

I've been able to play Endless Forest, the WoW Trial, and the LOTRO Trial on this computer with little problems. I know it has something to do with my graphics card, but I can't figure it out.

Can someone please help me figure out what it is I need to get one of these games to work.....................

I believe the two graphics cards I have now is a Nvidia Quad NVS 280, and an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 card.

I think the problem is with Direct3D. It's unable to recognize these cards, which have been able to work in the past. So do I need to get the card to associate with DirectX? If so, how do I do that?

Oh I also forgot to say that I'm using DirectX 9.0 (4.09.0000.904) and my Nvidia Quadro NVS 280 currently has the 93.81 forceware driver downloaded from here: http://www.dell-drivers.com/dell-dri...80_12445.shtml

oh I just discovered that the intel card is in fact working with DirectX now! It shows up under dxdiag and I am able to test Direct3D. But which card will give me best performance?
