I'm trying to install a trekker ps2 mouse on my Dell Dimesions 8100 with Win98. The normal mouse drivers are not working. Any ideal where I can get drivers for this type of mouse?

For most mice, and in particular Microsoft mice, drivers are not required as WIndows provides them. Access your Device Manager through Start/Settings/Control Panel/System
Navigate to the Device Manager tab and remove the mice that are showing in the system then reboot. Windows should detect the mouse and reinstall the drivers for it.

I have tried that. When I reboot it doesn't recognize the mouse. Any other suggestions?

Try the IntelliMouse drivers (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=775c1f67-d80f-4b3b-8b00-d4496c706d4f&DisplayLang=en). They should work just fine.

You might need to reboot into Safe Mode and remove all ghosted devices. At bootup, right after the single beep from the system, press the F8 key then select Safe Mode from the bootup menu. Just follow the same procedures to remove devices.
