Internet is slow.

Ok well i just built myself a new computer
Intel core 2 duo 2.2 ghz
2 gigs of ocz DDR2 ram
250 gig HHD

my old computer specs where
p4 2.0 ghz
1 gig DDR
80 gig HHD

Now for my problem.
Ever since i have been using my new computer my internet has been really slow. Slower then on my old computer and its kind of getting me mad.
Can anyone help me with my problem?

OK Mr Toaster Hacker, what ISP are you using, what method of connecting to the modem.router are you using, etc etc etc.

Basically, if you've built a new pc and used all the same hardware to hook up to the outside world and are getting a worse service, you have to look at the following n some detail:

Is the new machine's network connected device functioning correctly
Does that device interact properly with your modem/router
Have you setup the internet connection on the new box properly
etc etc etc.
