E:\ is not a valid win32 application
Hey y'all !
I'm about ripping my hair out of my head for this one. Well I bought the Fallout Collection and I am trying to install it into my computer which is a Compaq pressario with XP and Service Pack 2 and my cd/dvd drive is a TSST Corp CDW/DVD TS-H492c. The disk is a DVD game, and it is supposed to Autorun, but it doesn't. When I go the Drive it has the cd Image and name, but when I try to run it or launch it from the RUN option I get this error, " E:\ ( which is my drive ) is not a valid win32 error" I checked around on different forums and things and on Microsoft Help and nothing helped. I also tried Exploring the disk and copying the files to my Harddrive but not all files would copy over. Some how I got it to work for a little bit and was able to install Fallout 1. I don't know what I did, I messed around in Device Manager and with the regred ( but I doubt that worked ) Then I restarted my computer and now I get the same error as before. I also get this error as well sometimes, " E:\ only part of readprocessmemory or writeprocessmemory was completed" IF anyone has encountered this issue and knows how to help fix it or anything it would be greatly appreciated !
