I haveing trouble with the volume mixer.
I run sndvol32.exe which is supposed to open the mixer but it just opens a box in the tool bar.... I tried to update the drivers and all the easy stuff but still nothing Mr. Google said this is the best forum for pc help :P so mabey.....

If your using 98 and have a 98 cd or the cab files you can use the System FileChecker to replace bad file with good ones. You can access this program by typing sfc (or c:\windows\system\sfc.exe) in the run dialog.
