desktop shortcut icon arrows change?

usually when im on the computer for a while and i do something i dunno when or what triggers it but my icon's shortcut arrows will change anyone know the reason? heres a pic of them

Hi x-static,

Try d/loading the IconCache Fix (http://aumha.org/win4/regfiles.htm) (fifth item down under File column) and see if increasing the size of your icon cache file helps eliminate the problem.

Once in a while I get stuff like this after I run a game. Restarting the game then leave it usually solves this issue.

jesus this forum is great 2 replys in like what 5 min =D i did what greta told me to do and it works for now thank you guys :) now if i could only stop this keyboard error :(
