I am on a Dell XPS M1530 with Vista Home Basic, connected to a router with a Dell Wireless 1490 Dual Band WLAN Mini-Card.
I have already researched this problem some and all I keep seeing is "set it to do nothing when you close the lid". Well, I've done that, and it still does it.
I close the lid and if it is left closed for a bit, I'll open it back up and I will be disconnected from the net. I just wait a minute and it comes back on, but that's not the point. And sometimes I'll even open it back up after a while and it'll show that it's still connected, though I can tell it still disconnected at least briefly at some point, as I have been logged out of something or a download has stopped.
Is there any way to remedy this or is it just something I have to deal with?
