Ok....
I have a Speed Stream 6520 Router modem. My desktop is plugged right into the modem using RJ45 running XP. My new laptop is running vista and i connect to the modem trough "Ralink Wireless" it is a internal lan card.
I have no problem connecting, but my card is suppose to be good for 75 meters, but i loose connection at ruffly 15 meters, and when i download torrents or stream big video, i loose internet connection and only have "local/limited" access. Once i disconnect from the network and reconnect it works fine for a while, but it usually happens 3-4 times downloading a video torrent.
I tried updating the drivers, and set up a new wireless network, but i still get the same problem.
Any ideas?
