Hi, Any suggestions on the best way to remove unwanted applications pre-installed by computer manufacturer.

Thank you

If XP, go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs, click on a program you want to uninstall, click on the "Change/Remove" button that appears. Do that for each preinstalled application you want to uninstall. If after an uninstall has completed you get a message window telling you it must reboot to finish the uninstall, go ahead and restart the computer. In other words, don't wait until you've got everything uninstalled and then reboot; go ahead and reboot each time it says it needs to.

If Vista, go to Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features. Click on the program you want to uninstall and the uninstall should begin. If it requires confirmation, click the OK button. Again, if it says it must reboot to finish uninstalling, go ahead and reboot.
