So i had the Lexmark Z25-Z35 printer and it was pretty bad. So I bought a new Canon all in one printer/fax/scanner and Ive been using it since. But now how can i uninstall the lexmark printer and it's driver and all of it's components? When i try to uninstall it it says "The lexmark Z25-Z35 printer is currently in use. Please wait until the printer has finished printing and then uninstall" but i haven't printed anything with that printer for months!

Every way i try (add remove programs, all programs-Lexmark-uninstall) it says the same message so how i do it get rid of that bloody nightmare?

Go to Control Panel>Printers. Right click on the icon for the Lexmark and in the window that opens, left click Remove (or Delete, can't remember which word it uses).

If it give you the same "busy" message, double click the Lexmark icon. That will open a list of documents waiting to be printed. If any are there, click on File>Purge all documents.

Then see if you can right click/Remove the Lexmark.
