Internet (broadband) keeps on disconnecting...
and is hard to get online as it uses a adsl modem (sagem) with a extending internet phone lead.
the modem has 2 lights, one of which is always on when after turning on the computer, the second one you have to wait for to stay on to actually connect to broadband, (it's driving me bloody mad). personally I think something is hogging up my broadband, (malicious maybe). or that I have clicked on a link that I shouldn't of and that has somehow downloaded a virus of some sort onto my computer. still wary of using my bank details online too. can anyone shed any light on the issue. I can't really go wireless because the walls in my house are 3ft thick too so that does not help things (as the wireless router would always be on hence ready to connect anytime I would like to straight away iirc). thanks, ohbugger. |
