I have an old laptop that I need to wipe clean (it's a school owned computer, so I want all personal stuff off). I do NOT have any boot discs or anything with this since it doesn't belong to us. A while back I screwed it up and it no longer has internet access (genius I know), so I have to use my XP to get programs, transfer to a CD and then put that into the 98. I tried doing that with "Eraser" but kept getting error messages when putting it onto a USB stick, so that's out (unless someone can tell me how to get it onto a CD). Do you know of any other programs I can try or what I can do to get this machine cleaned out?
