Sygate Personal Firewall

I realize that the Sygate Personal Firewall has been discontinued, but I still use it. It seems to be working without a hitch. Having said that, is there any reason why I should change to a different firewall?

Because it flunks many of the current Leak Tests.

Any suggestions for a good FREE firewall, other than Zone Alarm? Considering all I've read, I'm not really sure that Comodo is that great either.

I have downloaded and installed Comodo. So far, it seems to be working fine...I think. But it has only asked me one time if it should allow an application. It never asked about browsers, regardless of which one. Is this normal? I seem to recall that when I first installed Sygate a few years ago, it asked me every time something wanted to access the internet. Any idea how to test it?

Thanks
