Does anybody use AVG Internet Security?
Hi, I noticed that AVG ver.8 is ready for download and that it costs
$54.99. I would not mind paying this amount if I knew that I could use it on both computers and most of all if it is a good program. I have been using AVG free for a long time and really like it but also feel a little guilty for not paying all this time. A number of years ago I bought Norton's Internet Security and it was terrible. It would be nice to be able to use 1 application (AVG) to handle all of the other apps. like SpyBot,Firewall, etc. Has anybody used AVG Internet Security and how do you like it? |

I've used it in the past, but prefer ESET Nod32 anti virus. It's great! It's fast, uses little RAM, and blocks everything. I just use that with windows firewall, and i've never had any virus/spyware problem.

Thank you! I have never heard of ESET Nod32. Will look for it and try it.

Grisoft has been somewhat elusive in their 'free' offerings going from versions 7.5 to 8.0 - check HERE, if you are still interested in reviewing their 'free offering' of the newest version - there is also a FAQ & a forum that provides support - good luck on your selection -
