Is there anyway that I can find this CD image for DL ?

Just upgraded, Vista found the drivers but only the current. I need the originals to be able to calibrate speakers and for the progs it brings.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the website?

Yes... They don't show the original installation for vista.

Are you sure that this installation completely supports Vista? You should be able to find everything you need from a manufacturer's website unless it is not supported. I would call Sound Blaster.

THere are vista drivers for the Audigy 2 card on their site.

I tried SB and they told me since I'm out of warranty that they cant even bother listening to my problem.

On their website there's no original installation CD posted anywhere. They only have the newer drivers ... already ahve those ... need the original cd install for vista ... looks liek theirs none and might have to go with a newer card because I can't calibrate the speakers like I used to on XP.

I guess I'm getting lost with your "need" for the CD image. When I pulled up that link I was able to browse to the Audigy 2 (I selected the one further on the list that just said "Audigy 2") and then could choose Vista.

You'll have to make sure you install the full suite of applications and not just drivers.

Long shot here since I still only have 2.1 speakers, but could the speaker calibration software be from the speaker manufacturer instead?

I was able to do it while on XP ... all original progs installed from CD bundle was over 480 mb. I doubt they were able to squeeze all of that in 90 mb lol.

thanx.

Did a search for the applications on the cd instead and it led me to find the ISO for vista.
