I have an NVidia 8500 GT Graphics card and an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 Processor. 1 GB Ram. Most games play ok (Dawn of War, World of Warcraft, Need for Speed Pro Street, Heroes of M&M V etc.) but in the case of a few games I'm having some strange issues.
So far I've experienced this lag with Rayman Raving Rabbids and Postal 2: Share the Pain. It behaves very strangely... It's not actually a decrease of the FPS, but and INCREASE of the game speed, and then suddenly, a decrease..
For instance: 2seconds of 2x speed, 1 second freeze, 3 secs of 2x speed, 1 sec freeze, 2 secs of high speed etc.

I'm connected to the internet using a wireless D-Link router and a Linksys antenna attached to my PC.

EDIT: i'd also like to mention that I've tried to reinstall my graphics drivers, i tried older ones, beta ones, no change..
