Printer Security!!

Hello

Can anyone out there help me on this? I am looking for some type of software that stops people from printing from my computer, perhaps like a password protection application
when someone is going to print.

Is there such an application like this? If not, what else can i do to restrict printing from my machine.

Hello purge,

Do you want to stop people from printing directly from your machine or are you talking about a remote user printing using a shared printer that is connected to your PC?

Your OS would be helpful.

Sorry about that. Its a stand alone pc running XP. However it seems I may have to set up some network and turn off sharing rights due to the replies I am getting from other groups.

Just unplug it and hide or take the cord with you. Can't fail.

The same thing will work if they are wanting to drive your car... remove the coil wire.
