Lightbulb Changing BIOS in Win2000

I upgraded my win98 desktop (Compaq Presario 5240) to WIN2000 PRO. I need to disable Plug & Play so that I can reassign a pci card to a specific IRQ.

When I was running win98, I could boot my system into BIOS but now I can't find any way to get the BIOS.

Any suggestions????

hi Mtnclimbers,

Have you tried pressing F10 when you on your PC?
Compaq machines usually uses F10 to get into bios.

Hope that helps

Thanks. I thought I had already tried F10 but it worked this time. Now that I am in BIOS, do you know how to disable Plug & Play? I need to set a specific IRQ for my wireless pci adapter. It is automatically being assigned to 11 and my modem and video are already assigned to 11. This appears to cause problems with my modem when another pc on my wireless lan accesses the internet and I am also using the internet on my desktop. My desktop is my gateway to the internet.
