Thanks

AcceleratedGraphicsPort is a high-performance interconnect between the core-logic chipset and the graphics controller for enhanced graphics performance for 3D applications. AGP relieves the graphics bottleneck by adding a dedicated high-speed interface directly between the chipset and the graphics controller.
Segments of system memory can be dynamically reserved by the OS for use by the graphics controller. This memory is termed AGP memory or non-local video memory. The net result is that the graphics controller is required to keep fewer texture maps in local memory. Smaller local memory requirements mean lower overall system cost. This innovation also eliminates the size constraint that local graphics memory places on texture maps, thus enabling applications to use much larger texture maps and further improving realism and image quality.
The motherboard must support AGP..

Thanks Murf
How do you go about enableing it?

Well, my first question would be what are you using now. Does your motherboard have onboard video, i.e, is your current video card integrated within the motherboard? If so, then does you motherboard have an optional AGP slot that you can put a graphics card? If you do, it will look like the circled slot in the image below. It will be in the same location but may be a different color.
