Red Hat 9 will not run off of those disks that you burned. You must install it with those disks. :)

But I'd like to add that you will still need to change the boot sequence in bios to get the RH Linux installer to run from Disk 1 of the RH set. Ensure that no floppies are in the floppy drive and ensure that the CDROM entry comes before the Hard Disk entry in bios, and you're set for installation.

Yes you will have a chance to partition....BUT I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU READ SOME MATERIALS FIRST!!
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/install-guide/ch-partitions.html
There is another thread that you were involved in, http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17969 , that PostCode poured a lot of information into, and I proposed the reading of a few reference pages on the Red Hat site.
When dealing with creating a dual boot system on a single hard disk and working with repartitioning, IT IS IMPERATIVE that you understand what you are doing.
((By the way, I'm sure that you're beginning to figure out that you have to take on some reading projects when working with and even installing Linux....it is NOT a 'fly by the seat of your pants OS', there is some thinking, planning, and reading involved. BUT IT DOES PAY OFF IN ITS POWER AND STABILITY!)
Like my shop teachers in high school always said: "Measure twice, cut once". So read a few references before you take the plunge!
