I currently have W2K operating on my raid config with a secondary hardrive active as a slave with only files stored on it. I would like to turn this 2nd hard drive into a Win98 OS and install a piece of software that only will run on Win98.

How do I go about installing Win98 on this second hard drive. I can boot to the command prompt in W2K, but can't seem to boot to MS-DOS.

Help is appreciated.

The reason you can't get to a MS-DOS prompt is because there is none in Windows 2000! The thing doesn’t run on DOS like Win 95, 98, and ME. You should be able to install Win 98 with the Win2k prompt. If you can't get that to work, just switch jumpers on the hard drives, and make the slave master and master slave. Then just pop in the Win98 boot disk, turn on, and install.
