I'm having a problem, recently i noticed that if I right click ... go to properties... then the security tab of a file.... or folder... where you can see the users who have access to that file or folder, that this will close the explorer window or the window that I'm browsing the files in. So then i go back to it.... right click it again... and everything is fine. but the file above it.... or below it will now do it. ... then later they will be fine.

What caused me to notice this is that these files are part of our image right database. some how the "everyone" group was removed from the permissions "security" tab of many files and folders. So to fix them I added that group to the root folder and propogated it all the way down.. but not all files and folders complied with this. So i have been manually changing them as user's cannot view files. Well then once in awhile I have these really bad ones like above.. that will not even let me touch them without closing the window I'm using to browse them. and gives NO error message.

Can ANYONE help? We have great virus protection that is running actively and this database is not connected to the outside world.
