Ximian Evolution is a PIM (personal information manager) that looks and feels like M$ Outlook. It has a mail client, to do list, calendar, and more.
So if you used M$ Outlook in windows for your mail reading/sending, then you'll be comfy with this program. It is native to the Gnome desktop but it runs under KDE as well.
