not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but i am having a video file problem. i have a video clip that is saved as .mpg. i cannot see teh video (i can hear the audio) wehn i play it in either wmp9 or winamp3. im not sure what i should do. i do not know if there is a codec that i could use to see the file(wmp9 tells me that there is a codec error when it tries to open the file). i appreciate all input.

thx,
Laex

Try getting an SVCD codec.. SVCD's are usually with extention .m2v, but a lot of them are .mpg or .mpeg also. You can find one at: http://www.dvdrhelp.com to be able to view them through WMP.

Or you can download a program such as PowerDVD and that'll work.
