I have a computer that runs and old print shop program and word perfect 97 in administrator mode. We are on a network!! When I sign on as the user I get an abnormal program termination for the print shop, and cannot initialize wpwin9.exe has generated errors. Does anyone have any idea of how I can get these programs straight so that the user can access them??

You might try giving the user more privilages. Access the Control Panel and then in here, double click on Administrative Tools. Double click on Computer Management. In here, click on Local Users and Groups in the left pane. In the right pane, double click on the Users folder and the users of the system will appear. Right click on the particular user and slect Properties. When the Properties box appears, click on the Member Of tab and then click on the Add button down below. Select the type of access that you want give the user in the top portion then click on the Add button. You'll see the group name appear in the lower portion. Click the OK button down below once you have granted the user the privilages you want, then the OK on the Properties box. Close everything out and logon as that user and test. If it dosen't work, then repeat the procedure and grant higher privilages to the user.
