installed win 2k pro over M/E, NOW DEAD
HELLO,
I have ignorantly installed a free WIN 2K, over my M/E. Now i don't have the password. I don't care about the computer, O/S, or otherwise, i just want to get to a dozen pics inside it. (GUEST), does not work. I can get to BIOS, but feel like a bull in a china shop...... I have the CDR of 2K, and a floppy reboot, in M/E. Also i have the orginal "Compaq recovery CDR" Please just point me back to M/E It is a 700mhz compaq, AMD DURON, basic stuff. Please help the dumby..... Much respect and appreciation to all , SC

Did you enter a password during the setup? If not, don't put a password in the login box. Just press enter or click on the OK button.

Win2k is not free software, unless it's a pirated copy.
