outlook + hotmail?

i was wondering since outlook is a good email client and i have a hotmail account can i get the email from my hotmailaccount from outlook?..like assign the hotmail acocount on outlook to go straight there...or something if u understand lol

You could try this.

This probably isn't exactly what you want. I have heard that you can set up Outlook Express to get hotmail then import those settings into Outlook but I'm not sure on the details.

yah thats sort of what i wanted but i wanted the messages to come up like this, instead of it going to the actual site

I don´t know about Outlook 2000, I am running Outlook 2002 and you can configure your hotmail account to download. It will create a separate folder for it and will display your email the way you indicated in your post.
